Karner Blue

The Karner Blue butterfly is a tiny Michigan native. Much like Monarch butterflies survive solely on milkweed, Karner caterpillars can only nest and feed on wild blue lupine.

Unfortunately, due to habitat loss, this species is critically endangered.
