I’ve been building skills in video creation and editing since 2019, though freelance is the first opportunity I’ve had to dedicate time to refining those skills. I’m still figuring out my style and learning new techniques, but I’m proud of what I’ve made so far. Here are some of my favorites.
A big part of beekeeping is beeswax alchemy; this is a POV-style video I made to show how I make my hand salves from scratch.
This is a three-part video series featuring the creation of this commissioned art piece. I wanted to show the process from sketch to finished object. I chose to make these videos longer both to give a sense of how long art genuinely takes and to give viewers a therapeutic art experience.
I launched the Beewitching Hour Youtube channel in summer 2024 with this video. I wanted to showcase a fascinating aspect of beekeeping as well as work on my video creation skills.
I started selling pyrographs in 2021 after losing both my hives the previous winter. I mix linocutting, woodblock, and pyrography to create a print block with a unique feel. I wanted to show a snippet of the hours of work I put into this type of art.
